Griffin Elan Clip for iPhone 3G

The Elan Clip for iPhone 3G is the only accessory I bought at first.  I got it at the AT&T store because I'd been a Blackberry user for quite a while and was used to wearing them on my hip.  When I switched to my T-Mobile Wing 2 years ago, I started carrying it in my cargo pants pocket, so I'm not sure why I thought I'd use this iPhone clip.  I guess I thought that I would want to show it off by geeking it around on my belt.

Turns out that the clip part itself is not very long.  If you don't know what I'm talking about you've probably never clipped a phone to your belt.  You want the clip to actually hook on the bottom of the belt, making it more secure, it won't pop off as easily.  This Griffin clip just would not work.  Plus it made me nervous that I would hook it on something and the thing wold go flying off.  The iPhone is WAY to pretty to just let it get banged up.  I probably only used this clip 2 or 3 times and wouldn't suggest it to anybody that wants to clip it to a belt.
